Sound healing or sound baths are done with crystal bowls that are played by rotating a felt or silicone wand. Each bowl corresponds to one of the 7 chakras, musically, as in the notes of C, D, E, F, G, A, B. The sound from the bowls can bring its listener to the lower alpha and even delta and theta sleep states where rest and sometimes healing can happen.
